Kindhearted Dora loves to explore, to find things and to help people. She interacts with children watching by asking their help to find new ways to get to places. She also consults The Map, a talking map she keeps in her backpack to consult when in need of travel advice and guidance. Her backpack is a magic satchel which seems to contain all manner of large and useful items that may be required on her travels.
